Saturday 3/3/12
SCEA and Taylor Shellfish Farms present an evening of oysters and wine right on the beach at the Taylor Farm on Samish Bay. We’ll gather as the sun sets and slurp by lantern light at low tide. Bring your oyster knife and a glove to shuck your own or we’ll shuck for you. Bread and a bowl of Xinh’s oyster stew will be ready to warm you as you return from the beach.
The evening begins at the farm at 6pm for all you can eat oysters, wine, shucking lesson, and oyster stew. Experts will be on hand to answer your questions. A unique experience perfect for oyster lovers! Northwest “beachwear” and footwear is encouraged. Free on-site parking available.
